held

God is holding my hand.
He hears our prayers.
He has given me peace.
I am focusing on this image
and praying
for this little face.

I know you are too.
You are lifting me and I feel it.
God has heard our cries.
Without his love and mercy
I can do nothing.
I know hope through Him
that leads to the conviction
that He is near.
He is accessible.
He listens.
He will act in our lives
according to his purpose.

Do not be anxious about anything
but in every situation.
by prayer and petition,
with thanksgiving,
present your requests to God.
Phil. 4:56,7

We will learn surgery time
on Wednesday
when they go for
all the pre-op stuff.
I will post it here,
so you will know.
There will be updates
throughout the day
on Thursday.
When I hear news, you will hear it too.

Thank you all.
 Love to you friends.
xoxo

  1. I emailed you words of a song that this post triggered in my heart when I saw the pictures--especially the last one. Here is a Gaither Family Reunion video (short) singing the chorus of "Wonderful Peace." May it continue to be yours in abundance this week! ♥

  5. Janie, this is my first time posting, but I have been praying for your wee one with the most precious name!
I want to let you know that your words of faith blessed me today in a powerful way. I won't bore you with the details but I needed to be reminded again of God's unfailing love and presence in ALL circumstances.
May you feel HIS peace today!
